This year, I am riding my second PMC to support my mom, Kyle, who was diagnosed with brain cancer in March 2021. Since then, she has remained courageous and strong as ever through multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and now a novel clinical trial. Despite the endless appointments and trips to Dana Farber, Kyle has remained the heart of our family. She inspires me every day and I am incredibly lucky to call her my mom. Through Kyle’s treatment, we have experienced the unparalleled professionalism and standard of care provided by Dana Farber. Our family has also witnessed, first-hand, the monumental impact of the money raised for Dana Farber through Kyle’s breakthrough clinical trial. We are forever grateful to the staff who have provided Kyle with the world’s best care, and I am very excited to ride the 2024 PMC with the goal of someday achieving a world without cancer. Every dollar matters!
I am also riding to honor the life of John Willett, a close family friend, who passed away in 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. I was lucky to have John as a lacrosse coach for years growing up. I will always remember the many lessons he taught me and my teammates, and am honored to ride for him.
I am grateful to be riding alongside my dad, Jim, and brother, William, in honor and support of Kyle, John, and all of our family and friends who have been impacted by cancer.
Thank you to all who donate, and a cure is only a few miles down the road!
