Thank you for visiting my profile page and considering a donation toward the PMC's 2024 fundraising effort.
This is my fourth year participating in the PMC, and my second time taking part in the two-day ride from Wellesley to Provincetown—a total of 162 miles. As soon as I crossed the finish line last August, I had no doubt that I’d be back again this year. I am deeply inspired by so many survivor stories of friends, family, and colleagues that I am grateful to know and hold close with me every day. It is their collective determination and grace that motivates me to do all that I can to support finding a cure.
I am also riding again in honor of my father, who passed away in December 2021 due to kidney failure, just weeks after being diagnosed with lung cancer. I often think about my dad while on training rides and I know his memory will help sustain me over those final, challenging, rolling hills on the outer Cape come August 4.
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. Indeed, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
I am excited to be joining the thousands of other riders making this journey. My training has been going very well, even better than in past years. I have already logged more than 900 miles during 45 training rides in preparation for the big event on August 3–4. I am especially grateful to my family for their support and patience as I put in the hours necessary to make my PMC ride a success.
Thank you again for making a donation and supporting my PMC ride.
Cheers, Jeff
