Friends, Family & Co-workers,
I am excited to announce that I have finally (after four-years of wishing) committed to riding the two-day, 192-mile, Pan Mass Challenge with Team Path to the Cure. On the first weekend in August, I will join 6,200 cyclists in the PMC ride, an annual bike-a-thon that raises money for research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston.
The special group I am riding with, Team Path for the Cure, is comprised of many who work at the clinical level as Pediatric Oncologists, Hematologists and Pathologists. They are the individuals who know firsthand how hard it can be, to be awarded grant money to fund Research trials. These trials are precisely how the Medical community is able to find break through therapies and hopefully, a cure in the near future. Even better news is, all money that you help support me to raise - will 100% go directly to fund Pediatric Hematology/Oncology research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute/ Boston Children’s Hospital. This year, the team as a whole is pushing to hit their $1 million mark since its inception just 6 short years ago!
Regardless of how big or small your donation is, myself, Team Path, and the children sincerely appreciate all of your support. Every single dollar counts- so please help give Team Path the financial resources to expedite the funding process and get these children into trials for a cure! There’s no time to waste, the children need our help now, and my 192-mile ride is my commitment to this mission. I believe we all have one life to live, and I whole-heartedly do my best to live my life as genuinely, and fully as I possibly can, every single day. Let’s give the children that same chance, and pay it forward.
I THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH !
