I AM IN! ARE YOU?

I made a new friend! This person will remain annoymous. My friend was diagnosed with cancer, treated, and in remissiom for over 45 years. But always reminded that it will come back. And it did. This is one promise we wish was broken. I didn't know this perspn very well but we always had a mutual respect for each other. Then there came a need for meals. Good home cooked meals while going through the 16 weekly and fatigueing chemo treatments. I jumped right on it actually before I even knew it was a thing. A big batch of chicken soup was on the stove and that was the beginning of our new friendship. Treatmenst are over now and the chemo worked. Good news. I am still delivering meals along with many of the other family members. It really does take a village!

So on August 2nd (my birhday!) and 3rd I will share the road with 6500 other riders. We always have lots of laughter as well as tears as we ride to remember what we are doing for all of us! That means you and your families and friends and loved ones! Although it is bittersweet, we try to focus on the survivors and the great strides Dana Farber is making in trying to eradicate cancer. My goal is $10,000 and I know with your support, I will be able to do it! Remember 100% of your donation goes to the charity!
