I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
This year I'm riding again with my life long friend Andy Cohen and in honor of two people - Duncan Finigan and Adam Raskin.
The first time I met Duncan it was at a college baseball game. You could tell instantly that she brought energy and had a presence that was special. By the end of the first game all of the parents had a new best friend, that's just the way she was. Genuine is the best way I can describe her. And full of life. She just loved to live. And as time went on, and we got to know her more, her approach to life became more admirable as she was acutely aware of the cancer she had and what her prognosis was. Didn't matter, she was going to fight this as long as she could and live the most fulfilling life she could while she was still here. She simply was what many of us aspire to be.
Adam and I first met in Little League. He was a year behind me and a talented player. We played Little League, High School and at the University of Massachusetts together. He was a crafty pitcher. The best part about Adam though was not his athletic talent but his personality. Everyone loved him. He was the type of friend that everyone wanted to hang out with. I'll be riding with my lifelong friend Andy Cohen this year, who's in his 21st year of PMC. He describes Adam the best and here's a link to Adam's story -

Please help all of us raise the funds to help in the fight against this disease. Let's change the ending of these stories for good.
Thanks for your support!
