PMC FY23
As many of you know, I started participating in the Pan Mass Challenge to ride in honor of my wife Jenny. It’s hard to believe that it has been 4 years since she had her stem cell transplant at Dana Farber to treat Multiple Myeloma and I am happy to report that all is going very well.
It's crazy to think that this will be my 5th year participating in the PMC. My first year, I was lucky enough to join team Courage Coneheads which includes over 50 riders laser focused on raising as much as possible for Dana Farber. During that first year, I had biking shorts made to match our team jersey. On the shorts I had the names of our friends and family printed of those who we honor or remember due to their cancer journeys. Since I started, as you can imagine, that list continues to grow which is why I stay committed to this incredible cause and ask for your support once again. For those of you that supported me last year, I wanted to thank you for helping me raise over $9,000 which 100% went to support patients and research at Dana Farber. My goal this year is to raise $11,000 before I pedal off on August 5th from Sturbridge MA to make our way to Provincetown, MA over two days which is roughly 200 miles. Everyone is touched by their own story of friends or family who have or are still working through their journey with cancer. Most recently, a friend of mine informed me that his wife was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. Their journey is just starting and it is for people like her of why I ride and stay committed to such a great event.
Thank you in advance for your support!
