I’m excited to announce that this August I will be riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). The PMC is the single largest athletic fundraiser in the nation consisting of a two-day, 162-mile event, from Wellesley, MA to the tip of Cape Cod. I am proud to be riding with the CRUS11TOUR team in honor of Davey Hovey.

In September 2015, Davey was diagnosed with Stage IV Glioblastoma (brain cancer). The disease took him far too early, at the age of 26. During that time, he dedicated himself to fundraising for cancer research and coined this effort the CRUS11TOUR. Though he passed away in 2017, his legacy lives on: since its inception, CRUS11TOUR has raised over $7.7 million for neuro-oncology research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and has grown from 3 riders in 2017 to over 100 in 2025.

I’ve had the privilege of getting to know the incredible Hovey family over the years through my brother-in-law Andrew, who was Davey's best friend. I'm riding for CRUS11TOUR to honor Davey's legacy and help move us closer to a cure.
