Why I Ride ...
Since 2000 on the first weekend in August I have participated in the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). This year a small group of us will bike over 1,000 miles on an 15 day trip beginning in Washington DC and culminating with the Pan Mass Challenge (PMC).
In each of the 22 years I've participated we have exceeded our fundraising goal. With your help we hope to exceed this years goal of $70 million. 100% of your donations will go to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute whose principal affiliate is the Harvard Medical School.
One in 3 of us can expect to be afflicted with cancer. One thing we can all count on is that PMC cyclists will be on the roads the first weekend of every August riding for all of us, rain or shine. On behalf of all of you, who believe that a cure for every form of cancer is on the horizon, I hope that you will extend the same overwhelming support that you have shown in the past to raise more than my share to support the fight against cancer.
It doesn't mater what you give, what maters is that you give,
Thank you,
Harold
