For those of you who had the honor of meeting Eleanor Robinson then you know just how passionate she was about all thing’s life, family, and birds. I have met few people in my life that managed to give a piece of themselves to so many people and places. From the climber/outdoorswoman/golfer traversing through the Adirondack Mountains to the ever-watchful birder combing through the canopy of the Tropical Rainforest, it is safe to say Mrs. Robinson did it all.

I am proud to be riding in my sixth PMC this year, with the Peregrine Pedalers team, in honor of Eleanor Robinson, a mighty and inspiring mom, who died January 2, 2022 to this disease after a 5 year battle - read her full obituary here. This year's ride takes new meaning and we will carry Eleanor's spirt with each pedal stroke.

The PMC means so much to our family and community - more than can be shared in this email. Through our fundraising and advocacy work for the PMC, we have formed deep connections with Dana Faber, Dr. Pasi Janne, and those a part of the thoracic oncology department who took mom in as a patient. These incredible doctors, researchers, and staff at Dana Farber extended mom's life and, each day, are actively supporting and saving the lives of moms, dads, sisters, brothers, family members, and friends throughout the country.Through a partnership with PMC, all the funds raised by the Peregrine Pedalers will go directly to Dr. Janne's Dana Farber Non-Small Cell Cancer Research Lab (http://jannelab.org/).
