Why I Ride ...
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
Alongside my father Steve Chunias, CPA (I'm legally required to add that title every time I type his name), our friend Phil Carter, his wife Christine, and his son Robert, I'm riding 50 miles on August 4th to support cancer research.
Armed with the thinnest tire treads in the game, two thick Greek legs, and the best roads taxpayer money can buy, I'm riding from Wellesley to Gillette Stadium and back before subsequently falling into physical disrepair in the months after the ride, all but ensuring I have to completely re-train my body for this again next year.
All my nonsense aside, this is a great cause that I care deeply about and one that just about everyone on Earth unfortunately has some personal connection to. Please donate if you're able or show your support via an encouraging text or solemn nod. Let's kick cancer's ass.
