Why I Ride ...
Cancer sneaks into our lives, scaring us and challenging us and often robbing us of our dear friends and family. Childhood cancer is especially heartbreaking. The good people at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute are dedicated to serving these young patients and their families. They don't win every fight, but they keep battling every day.
The Pan-Mass Challenge raises money for the Jimmy Fund - a great charity that has tremendous track record in the fight against cancer. Unlike most charity events, 100% of the donations I collect will go to directly supporting the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
I will be riding for the 11th time this summer because this cause is dear to me. The Jimmy Fund does make a difference and the Pan Mass Challenge is among their most important fund raisers.
