Why I Ride - PMC 2024
Now we ride. The final training rides are behind us and we are ready for the 2024 Pan Mass Challenge next weekend. This year will be my 15th consecutive year riding the PMC. I have been training throughout the summer and once again will be riding with Team Freeman-Clayton to raise much needed funds to fight cancer. As a team we have raised over $2 million for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. When my wife Barbara received care at Dana Farber we experienced first-hand the level of outstanding treatment, sophistication and compassion. We are so thankful for an institution like this in our community. Our team is riding for Bob Freeman and Wendy Clayton, two close friends who fought this terrible disease, as well as so many others who have been victims and survivors of cancer. Many of us have been challenged by cancer. The Pan Mass Challenge is a powerful way to respond to that challenge. Dana Farber is an exceptional institution, and I am proud to support it. The weekend of riding with our team continues to be one of the highlights of my summer. I love the energy of being part of a community of riders that has prepared itself to meet the challenge of the road and raise more than $75 million for Dana Farber.
Please consider supporting me in the ride this year as a member of Team Freeman-Clayton. There are multiple ways to make a donation. Frank Litwin
