Why I Ride ...
Proud supporter of the PMC, which leads a charge to beat cancer. 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's commitment to finding a cure. This will be my 6th participation in the challenge.
First, I ride in honor of my wonderful wife, Emily, who is living proof as she beat cancer in 2021! The gratitude we feel for her recovery and medical providers is limitless. I also ride for both of my grandmothers (suffered from cancer); mother-in-law (suffered from cancer); two aunts (died from cancer); aunt in law (died from cancer); close friend Dave's brother, Chris, AND his mother (both died from cancer); friend Patrick (suffered from cancer); friend Ron (died from cancer); friend's son Finn (suffered from cancer); friend Meghan (beat cancer during COVID); friend's daughter Aubrey (suffered from cancer); friend Jean (suffered from cancer); friend Wanda's dad (died from cancer); friend Damon (died from cancer); friend Larry (died from cancer); friends Tim and Dan's dad (died from cancer); friend Erica's parents (mom died of cancer, dad fighting cancer); friend Tara's mom (died from cancer); friend Susan (died from cancer); friend Jen's mom (fighting cancer); friend Gene's daugther (fighting cancer); friend Dan (suffered from cancer); wife's friend Melissa (died of cancer); and countless other friends, relatives and clients who have died from cancer, have suffered from cancer or have been affected by cancer. Please consider supporting this wonderful cause. Cancer affects us all, sooner or later; and cancer sucks.
