Back for a 6th Year and More Committed than Ever!
After taking a year off, I’m so excited to be back riding the PMC and supporting the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund! This will be my 6th PMC ride. Team SmithGroup has 7 riders who have committed to ride and are committed to raising money to fight cancer! We are excited to be spending our 4th year paired with 14 year old Pedal Partner Levi Whitcomb. In addition, Levi's mother Jennifer will again be riding with the team! Levi is courageously batling Medulla Blastoma, a brain tumor most common at the pediatric level. Levi is an energetic boy who enjoys video games, basketball, soccer, art projects, and is a big Bruins fan!
A nighbor and friend was recently diagnosed with cancer and hearing the fight he has in him to beat it is more than the motivation I need to train and reach out to folks like you who share the desire to find a cure. I have been overwhelmed by the support I have received every year that I have participated in the PMC, and greatly thank all those who have contributed to my ride. With your help, I hope to have my best fundraising year ever in support of the Jimmy Fund, family, friends, neighbors, and great kids like Levi!
