While my first PMC was in 2015, this cause has become much more personal for me since my dad was diagnosed with a glioblastoma in May 2020 and passed away earlier this year. Watching him struggle through this awful diagnosis for three years heightened for me the importance of continuing to support our increased understanding of and ability to fight this and so many other destructive and, as of now, incurable forms of cancer.
