Dear Family and Friends,

The Pan- Mass Challenge, an annual bike-a-thon, is a pioneer of the athletic fundraising industry and today raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country. Please support my ride in the PMC this August.

I rode in my first Pan Mass Challenge in 2008. It was a moving and humbling experience that touched my life deeply. Every summer I trek 190 miles on bicycle, with the most amazing group of people, from Sturbridge to Provincetown over two days in an effort to help the Pan-Mass Challenge raise more than 1 billion dollars to help the Dana Farber Cancer Institute fight cancer.

This year I ride for Pete Locke, Our Team Leader and father of our team's namesak, Daisy. Pete passed away this past February, and Daisy passed just this past month, 2 more casualties that fought fr 28 years in our war against cancer. Pete started Team Daisy in honor of his daughter who was stricken with cancer at age 2. For the past 23 years Pete planned, organized, executed and led the team in the PMC. He called it herding cats!.

Our team and I will miss him and this will be a particularly difficult ride without him

I will be thinking of both of them as I pedal from Sturbridge to Provincetown on August 3 & 4.
