Friends and Family,
As many of you know we lost my Mom, Patricia Pike-Smolinsky, April 1, 2022 from failing health. She was a cancer survivor for 45+ years. To honor her memory, along with many past and present family and friends that have been impacted by cancer, I will be participating in my second PAN-MASS CHALLENGE.
On Sunday August 6th 2023 I will be cycling 77 miles from Bourne to Provincetown, MA (Monument Finish) to raise money for life-saving cancer research. I won't be alone! I will be cycling with Matt Newman, riding for his dad Larry Newman, a cancer warrior that has been fighting cancer for several decades.
We hope to have a couple others joining us for this ride, to be determined!
We all have a loved one, friend or colleague who has been impacted by cancer. I'm proud to support the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, each year 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure ($69 million for PMC 2022). I am asking for your help in finding a cure for Cancer by sponsoring me in this year's Pan Mass Challenge, PMC 2023. I am committed to raise $6,000.00 that will go towards finding a cure for Cancer. I hope you will consider making a donation to my PMC 2023 ride. All contributions, regardless of amount, are greatly appreciated as it all counts!
You can donate online at my donation page https://donate.pmc.org/DP0330, Venmo on this page or to @Daniel-Pike-20, last 4 of phone 0186, cash if we cross paths, or mail a check (made payable to the Pan Mass Challenge) to Dan Pike, 109 Swan Drive, East Taunton, MA 02718.
Alternatively, with dollar-for-dollar matching through my employer, you can also make donations / checks payable to me and I will combine and deposit those donations through my PMC account. Thanks in advance for your donations in helping to find a cure!
And if you ever want to come out on a low impact training ride from early April through July just let me know, happy to have anyone join, often on the CCRT.
Thank you all for your support and generosity!
Dan
