Over the past 4 years I’ve supported and watched a cancer survivor and PMC Living Proof rider. Seeing this person’s journey and dedication to Pan-Mass is inspiring and my inspiration to ride the Pan-Mass this year. Also fortunate to join a team this year! Team Daisy / Summit Partners.

Why I ride:

My sister Eileen shared with my brother and I the devastating news of her pancreatic cancer diagnosis in 2022. Her initial treatments started during COVID, between her compromised health and global pandemic visiting her in person wasn’t possible. A year or so later after successful surgery, cancer treatments and relaxed COVID protocols we were able to visit her, share stories of our childhood and laugh! Unfortunately, the cancer returned, she started another round of treatments. Ultimately she made the brave and difficult decision to stop treatment and focus on spending quality time with her amazing husband, kids and family. We made it a priority to visit with her and would always tell stories …. and laugh. The last time I saw her we hugged and cried. Eileen passed away surrounded by her family on July 28, 2024. My very first PMC and I ride for my sister Eileen.
