Why I Ride ...
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading the charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. As a survivor of childhood leukemia and former patient of Dana Farber, I am living proof that the research and treatment provided by their staff is unparalleled. Why do I ride? I ride for my heros. For my father, taken too early from us by leukemia . I ride for my mom another survivor and the strongest person I know. I ride for those too sick to ride themselves. For those who continue their battle against Cancer. For those who were not as fortunate as I was then and still am today. For my fellow brothers and sisters of the Boston Fire Department. For their families. For the daily battle they endure against occupational cancer. I ride because the PMC is the single most successful charity in the battle against cancer with 100% of every dollar raised going directly to the fight. There may come a day when cancer will be a thing of the past. Until that day comes though, we must aid those stricken with this horrible disease. We must give them the nessecary weapons to fight. I ride to make it so. Please support myself and my fellow teammates with a donation to our cause. Thank you.
