My wife Jen is both an oncologist and a patient at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI). Despite the challenges she has faced, she has continued to provide compassionate care to her patients and to lead clinical trials to identify new treatment options for the cancer patients she treats. She is also on a clinical trial herself and knows firsthand the promise of cancer research.

An important mechanism for funding cancer research at DFCI is the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). For the last two years, I have been riding in the PMC to raise money for a fund we created called the “Jennifer Crombie Fund for Ovarian Cancer Research,” which aims to support breakthrough research in low grade serous ovarian cancer. I am proud to say that we have raised more than $250,000 over the last two years. In honor of Jen, I will be riding in the PMC for the third time on August 3-4, 2024.
