“IF I CAN NOT DO GREAT THINGS, I CAN DO SMALL THINGS IN A GREAT WAY” Martin Luther King Jr.
To family and friends alike:
August 3rd & 4th marked the 45th annual Pan-Mass Challenge weekend. This is the annual cycling charity ride around the Commonwealth of Massachusetts which supports the Dana Farber Institute’s fight against cancer.
I was thrilled to once join my brethren, nearly 7,000 strong, in completing the 2 day-160+mile journey to the spectacular Provincetown finish.
This year PMC did something GREAT…surpassing the $1 billion threshold of money raised to fight cancer and I could not be prouder to be a SMALL part of this incredible achievement!
For the past 8 years donning the jersey representing PMC has been one of greatest privileges of my life, allowing me to “RIDE FOR RICH”…“CYCLE FOR SLIVE”…“GO FOR G” and “ATTACK FOR ANTHONY”…and so many others, as well as those still in the fight of their life.
That being said, while my spirit remains willing, I’m not sure if my body has any more rides left to give. Regardless of what the future holds, my commitment to PMC remains resolute and I will figure out other ways to contribute long after I unclip.
Hopefully you will remain by my side this year…and beyond.
Many thanks to all for your friendship and generosity.
Craig
