Why I Ride ...
I will be participating in my fourteenth Pan Mass Challenge this year. Why do I ride a bicycle for 192 miles over two days? To kick cancer's butt!
This year I will again be riding for my mother, Ruth Sterling, Michael Mastacusa and Geneva Jonathan. Please keep these wonderful people in your thoughts and prayers.
All of us have had a friend or a loved one impacted by some form of cancer. I jumped into riding upon seeing my nephew CJ undergo chemo when he had Leukemia. While CJ provided the genesis to ride, losing my Uncle Hayward, my dad, James Sterling, and my grandmother cements my drive. Others that provide a driving force are Pete Daly, Dennis Clark, Jay Younkin, John Hollowell, Max Heiniluoma, Rosario Grillo and Shirley Kreidel. Your donation makes a difference in funding research to developing a cure.
