In the last 40+ years, the PMC has raised more than $1 billion to help fight cancer.
I rode the PMC for the first time in 2016 in honor of my grandmother’s fight against cancer. The difficulties she faced while undergoing treatment gave me the motivation to tackle the arduous task of training to ride the extreme distance covered by the PMC.
I have committed to fundraising for the PMC every year since; in support of the struggles she and others face while undergoing cancer treatment.
This year I rode to honor my grandfather who lost his fight with prostate cancer last year, in memory of my step-mother who succumbed to the complications of treatment for kidney cancer, and in memory of my grandmother. I also ride in honor of the many friends and family members of my generous benefactors who have fought for their lives against cancer.
