This August, I’ll be riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge to support the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. The PMC is the nation's most successful single-event fundraiser, raising over $1 billion since 1980—including $75 million in 2024 alone.

Although this will be my first ride, I’m honored to take part in raising funds for such an exceptional institution—one I have a deeply personal connection to. I’ll be riding with Team Duncan in memory of my friend Cavan’s mother, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014, and my own mother, who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in 2013. While both passed—Cavan’s mother in May 2019 and mine in October 2013—I’m grateful for the opportunity the PMC gives us to honor their legacies and contribute to the fight for a cure.

Your generous donations will be split 50/50 between breast cancer research via Team Duncan and the research fund of Dr. Dan DeAngelo, who led the team that treated my mother at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
