I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
Hi everyone,
Thank you in advance for your help and support as we strive to help the cause that Dana-Farber has been going after for many years now. We all have had friends or family that have gone through a fight with cancer, and we know the toll that it can take on the individual and their families.
Though Dana-Farber is based in Boston, the work they do affects people all over the world. When the PMC started in 1980, there were fewer than 5 million cancer survivors worldwide. Today, more than 17 million cancer survivors lead full, productive lives, and you and I are a big part of that success story.
This year, I’m hoping to raise the bar—I’m setting a personal fundraising goal of $6,000. It’s a stretch, but with your help, I think it’s achievable. If you know someone who’s been touched by cancer who might join us in our year of Hope and in raising money for the Pan Mass Challenge, please feel free to share my letter.
In just about one month, I’ll be riding in my first PMC—77-miles through most of the state of Massachusetts. And even though I’m the one doing the riding, I really do feel like we’re in this together. We’ve all been touched by cancer in one way or another. And we’re ALL making a difference… one mile at a time.
Thank-you for your continued support, and for considering inviting others to join the fight.
To donate, please go to the PMC.org website or click here. I have been posting on social media and have sent out some emails…I am now reaching out individually to see if you can help me on this journey of support.
Many thanks. All my best,
