Why I Ride ...
My heart is heavy as I rewrite why I chose to participate in the Pan Mass Challenge. This will be my 4th year riding for a great cause that I hold close to my heart. The PMC has been an event so meaningful to my family for the past couple of summers. My previous years of riding and fundraising were dedicated to my mother as she battled breast cancer this year my ride will be in honor and in memory of her. Throughout my mothers battle with cancer she was always ellated to see myself and my sister Allyson at Mass Maritime and the P-Town Finish. She was always quick to show off pictures to nurses and doctors at DFCI of us participating in the PMC for her and for everyone else who is impacted by this terrible disease.
My mother Cheryl Boli was the most selfless, caring, and compassionate woman. As a nurse she dedicated her life to care for others even while facing a cancer diagnosis. To continue to make her proud and to continue to give back I ride to raise money for Dana Farber and The Jimmy Fund.
My ride will be in Memory of my mother Cheryl Boli and my Aunt Amy. My ride will also be dedicated to my sweet gal Harper Kershner who is continuing her fight against leukemia. I ride for all those impacted by cancer in my heart.
Thank you to Team Fitz for welcoming me on your team for another year. I am very grateful for this cyclepath community.
Your donation, whatever size, will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your generosity.
