I went into my first PMC ride with the broad sense of contributing to the worthy cause of beating cancer.

On that first ride, arriving hot, tired and sore at one of the later exits of the five, 20-mile spaced, rest stops, I slowed to enter a long tree-lined side street with a cool leafy canopy overhead that dampened the noise and quieted the senses.

On either side of us began a long procession of pictures of children who won or lost their battle with cancer. It was intensely moving.

Contributing to the PMC is simply doing the right thing for the right reason. Your one act will help contribute to changing the balance of who wins the battle with cancer.
