Greetings Family & Friends,
I am excited to announce that I will be participating in the Pan-Mass Challenge again this coming August. The PMC is a Massachusetts-based cycling event that raises funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world leader in adult & pediatric cancer treatment and research. The team I will be riding with includes Dana-Farber nurses, doctors, and former patients as well as cyclists, like me, who are interested in supporting the cause through this ride.
I have yet to come across anyone who has not been affected by cancer. This year, I will be participating in this ~200 mile/2-day bike journey from Sturbridge to P-town for my Cousin/Godmother Kate, Uncle Jerry, Aunt Shannon and friends Dennis & Sheila Drain. Eradicating this horrible disease is at the core of the PMC and I want to be part of this mission to help cure it.
As some of you know, I was hit by a car while cycling in September 2023. This year’s PMC will be my first time back out on the road since then. I’m sure it will be a little nerve-wracking getting back out there, but raising money for this cause makes it worth it. My goal this year is to raise $10,000 and you can help so much by donating any amount. ONE HUNDRED % of rider-raised revenue will go directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
Many thanks for your support.
