Michael, Dan and I are preparing to embark on our 37th year (wowza!) participating in the annual Pan Mass Challenge. On 1st-3rd August, we will join cyclists on an extraordinary 2-day, 192 mile bike ride to benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. We often say, the strong sense of camaraderie among riders and (obvious) addictive need to do this every year keeps us committed to this event.

Thanks to your generosity, last year the PMC raised $75 million(!!) in support of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Year after year, the PMC's consistent and impressive fundraising has fueled innovations in discovery science and enabled the Dana Farber Cancer Institute to maintain the highest standards of excellence in patient care. This year, our goal is to raise an ambitious $76 million.

Team Erica’s Entourage named in memory of our dear friend Erica Kaitz, will be represented by 60+ team members committed to raising $1.2 Million this year. We will be riding to support the vital resources for the clinician-scientist. Our funds will go towards promising research in immunotherapy for neuro oncology led by Dr. David Reardon (who will be riding on our team again); pancreatic cancer research being conducted by Dr. Brian Wolpin; and supporting the Sarcoma Center to accelerate their efforts to understand, prevent, and treat leiomyosarcoma and other soft tissue cancers. We also continue to support our special Pedal Partner, Samantha Janower, who continues to be our greatest inspiration.

Michael and I are extremely grateful for your continuous support all these years. It is hard to put into words what a difference this makes to scientists, clinicians and most importantly, the patients and families. We hope you will join us in the fight against cancer, no amount is too small and every contribution makes a difference.
