Dear Friends,
Cancer is no longer an automatic death sentence. As a two-time cancer survivor currently in treatment for lymphoma, I am living proof of that progress. And I am not alone. Thousands of Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) riders share stories of survival, hope, and determination.
The way we fight cancer today is light-years ahead of where we were just a decade ago. Once debilitating treatments are now delivered as targeted oral therapies that preserve healthy cells and quality of life. This transformation in care is driven by research—research made possible by donors like you.
On August 2–3, I will ride in my 41st consecutive Pan-Mass Challenge, a 192-mile, two-day journey across Massachusetts. As always, 100% of every dollar I raise goes directly to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This year, I am proud to share that all of my fundraising will support the Bing Center for Waldenström’s Macroglobulinemia at Dana-Farber, where I am currently receiving care. This world-class research and treatment center is at the forefront of fighting the rare lymphoma I am facing—and your donation will make a direct impact.
The PMC has raised more than $1 billion since 1980. This year, we begin the journey toward the next billion. My personal goal is to raise at least $11,000, once again achieving Heavy Hitter status. With your help, I have already surpassed $250,000 in lifetime fundraising, but we still have work to do.
Your support brings real hope to patients like me—and to countless others. Please consider joining my team of supporters with a donation today.
Together, we will kick cancer to the curb.
See you on the road!
