I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.

This year I increased my riding and fundraising goal by committing to the 186-mile Sturbridge to Provincetown Route and a fundraising goal of $6000! It has been a goal of mine to tackle for several years and I'm excited that 2025 is my year!

I will be riding in memory of my parents, Bob and Barbara Barrett, who both passed away from cancer, and who were both treated at Dana-Farber. My family benefitted from and is forever grateful for the precious gift of extra time because of the research and treatments developed at Dana-Farber.

I'll also be riding in honor of so many cancer survivors: my aunt Gina Maguire; my brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Laurie Delaney; my sister-in-law Martha Hoffman; my dear friend Eileen Kelley; family friend Lola Graham. Also in memory of Matty Dubuc, Jill O'Malley, Timmy O'Connell and Kerri DeRosa.

Within a few weeks after committing to this year's ride I learned a wonderful work friend, Jen Jaksa, passed away from pancreatic cancer, and another dear friend has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. They will both have a special place in my heart and thoughts during my training and ride this year.

Every person is affected by cancer in some way. So many wonderful people are still with us because of the amazing work at Dana-Farber...but there is still so much work to be done, at a time when funding for cancer research is being cut.

The PMC donates 100% of every rider-raised dollar to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and has raised $900 million since 1980. This is why I ride. Thank you so much for your emotional and financial support.
