I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
This year I will be riding the 186-mile Sturbridge to Provincetown Route with Kerri's Krew, in memory of Kerri DeRosa, who passed away to Ovarian Cancer in May of 2022, after a seven-year courageous journey.

Ovarian cancer is an extremely difficult cancer to detect, control and cure. Although there are advancements being made, there is no testing for this type of Cancer. There are signs however, which could be leading indicators in the early onset stage:

Of course, I will also be riding in memory of my parents, Bob and Barbara Barrett, who both passed away from cancer, and in honor of many others....my aunt Gina Maguire, my brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Laurie Delaney, my sister-in-law Martha Hoffman...my dear friend Eileen Kelley...family friend Lola Graham...Also in memory of Matty Dubuc and Jill O'Malley, beautiful souls who I met through the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team, and Timmy O'Connell. Way too many people....
This year I have committed to the two-day ride from Sturbridge to Provincetown and a fubdraising commitment of $6000. The PMC donates 100% of every rider-raised dollar to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and has raised $900 million since 1980. Thank you in advance for your consideration to donate to this worthy cause to cure this disease. “If we can collectively save one life.”
