Hello friends and family -

This year will be my third year participating in the PMC and unfortunaltey, I keep getting reminders as to why this fundrasier is so important. Earlier this year we tragically lost my father-in-law to colon cancer, and as I write this, a dear friend of mine is battling pancriatic cancer. My mother has had cancer, my mother-in-law has had cancer, my sister has had cancer. My son lost a childhood friends to cancer. And the list goes on.

I know this time of year we all get barraged with fundraising requests and yes, it gets annoying and expensive having to say yes to everyone, but think of the alternative. For those of us who are healthy, we are the lucky ones and every time I think of a friend or a family member who has suffered from this disease - or any disease for that matter - I'm happy to donate whatever I can. So please, if you can, make a donation to my ride or to anyone who is raising money for a cause. Every dollar you donate to the PMC goes to cancer research.
