Dear Friends and Family,
Hope this message finds all of you well. On Sunday, August 4th, I will be participating in the Pan Mass Challenge for the eighth straight year. Once again, I will be riding the 50 mile course as a member of the Patriots Platelet Pedalers team, meaning all the money that I raise will go directly to Dr. Anderson at The Kraft Family Blood Donor Center. Dr. Anderson and his world-renowned team primarily focus on Multiple Myeloma research and the development of novel therapies, including Pancreatic Cancer and Pediatric Oncology, areas that were important to my Grammy, Barbara Strachman, whose memory I ride in every summer. As member of Patriots Platelet Pedalers, I’ve been fortunate to learn firsthand of the incredible advances that have been made over the few years that I’ve been on it and look forward to see what strides they make this year. Along with my Grammy, I’m also unfortunately riding in memory of my uncle, Bill Wheeler, who passed away last August. Not only did he benefit from the amazing work that Dana Farber does each day, he also gave back to them as a long-time volunteer.
If you would like to support my ride, please follow this link to donate on-line: https://egifts.pmc.org/AS0407
If you prefer to write a check, please make it out to PMC-The Jimmy Fund and mail it directly to me at:

If your employer has a matching gift program, please ask your Human Resources department for a form, and follow the process for matches.
The PMC donates 100 percent of all rider-raised funds directly to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund. The PMC is Dana-Farber’s single largest supporter and is 62 percent of the Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue. Since 1980, the PMC has raised $972 million for Dana-Farber. Thank you so much for your generosity and helping with this important cause.
