Why I Ride ...
Dear Family and Friends,
The Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (PMC) is different this year, the pandemia has changed everything about this fund raiser for the fight against cancer. This year’s ride would had been my 10th in a row. With all these rides, I have so far raised over $80,000, which I take as an enormous accomplishment and for which I thank all of you who have made it possible. I was expecting the 2020 ride to be my last one, but because of Covid the ride was canceled. Nevertheless, the fight against cancer continues. This year the minimum amount to be raised by each participant has been eliminated, thus the only pressure to get support from donors is the fight against cancer itself.
We, the team “Path to the Cure”, decided to reinvent the 2020 PMC fund raiser. We planned two long rides as a team, one was already completed in August, the second will take place on September 12th.
Conquering cancer is not an easy ride, but with innovative science as done at DFCI and the collective support from all of us, I am certain that the path to the cure will be found. I hope you can continue to contribute to the fight against cancer.
