Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues,
I'm back again in 2025! I recently committed to again raising $6,000 for cancer research by riding in the 2025 Pan-Mass Challenge. On the first weekend in August, I will join thousands of cyclists in riding the PMC, an annual 186-mile ride that raises money for research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston.
The PMC raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country - a record $75 million in 2024 alone, eclipsing ONE BILLION cumulatively since 1980. This success is the result of a lot of people riding for and caring about a cure. And because every dollar matters, 100% of your donation goes to Dana-Farber.
I am riding because the Pan-Mass Challenge is an extraordinary fundraising event focused upon defeating cancer. All of us have been touched by cancer in some way. I look forward to having the joy of riding with like-minded folks eager to lend their efforts to end cancer, sharing the grief of folks who have lost loved ones, and celebrating those who have overcome cancer.
You and I can't end cancer by ourselves. But we can, through our financial support, help researchers and practitioners uncover its roots, find better treatments, and eliminate it. 100% of your donation goes directly through the PMC to support the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to developing treatments and cures.
Great progress has been made, but you and I still know too many people suffering with and struggling against cancer. There's more to be done. Please help support ongoing research that will, one day, end cancer.
With appreciation,
Andrew
