This is my first time riding in the PMC. I am riding in honor of my Aunt Lee, my dad's sister, who is currently battling Leukemia. Lee is an avid biker, skier and outdoor enthusiast. I have been lucky enough over the past few years to spend time with Lee, as well as Tom, Heather and Zach, her husband and two kids, while I was living and travelling in Colorado. Lee is strong and has been battling this horrible disease every day since being diagnosed, which is exactly one year from the date of my PMC ride. Every dollar donated to the PMC and Dana Farber helps researchers get closer to curing cancer. Please help me in the fight against cancer by supporting Lee, her family, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
I am also riding for those in my life who have fought cancer and are fighting cancer, so that future generations will hopefully be cancer free. I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
Cancer sucks, and I am riding in support of all those in my life who fight.
