Why I Ride ...
On Friday, 3/15/24, I completed 24/24 weeks of chemotherapy for breast cncer. To celebrate this victory, I first cracked a bottle of chanpagne with my anchor to windward, John Lotka, and my angel, Brenna Lotka along with dear friends. We toasted to my many warriors who have been there with me in spirit every step of the way. Beyond grateful and never alone.
Next, I signed up to ride in the Pan Mass Challenge to rasie awareness and money for Dana Farber with my friends from Team MFS and especially because of my friend Rosemary Murphy whose inspirational spirit calls out in joy and hope! I have a bit of a rough road ahead (don't we all?) before I am cancer-free. Join me in the effort to make VICTORY over cancer real in our lifetime. And help me get my butt in shape to beat this thing!
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
No donation is too small. Prayers are critical. Pick one. Pick both. Victory ahead! With gratitude and determination. ~ami
