I ride to give back to a cause that has saved my life twice.

I ride for my wife, who has sacrificed so much to help me beat this horrible disease.

I ride for my parents and the rest of my family members that were in my corner through the darkest times in my life, right by my side, cheering me on.

I ride for the incredible person that donated her bone marrow to save the life of a total stranger.

I ride for the nurses and doctors that cared for me during my treatment more than I could have ever hoped.

I ride for the friends that stood by me while I was at my worst, motivating me to keep fighting.

I ride for all of the people that are going through cancer treatments now that may not have the family, the friends, or the medical teams that I was fortunate enough to have on my side.

I ride to prove that cancer can't keep me or anyone else down. I want to be the living proof that others need to keep fighting.

No matter what comes your way, never stop fighting, never give up, and always believe. A survivor never quits.

I couldn't be more proud to ride once again in the 2025 PMC with my uncle and now my father-in-law as well. My cousin (former rider) will be part of our logistics team, and my wife and several other family members will be volunteering too! We've all been heavily affected by cancer and we ride to stand up to that awful disease!

If you feel the selfless desire donate, I would like to personally thank you. Every single rider-raised dollar goes directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute: the hospital that contributed so much to saving my life and many, many others.

Cancer Resume

Initial Diagnosis: ALL Ph+ (July 17, 2009)

• Chemotherapy (July 17, 2009 – March 8, 2012)
  • Two and a half years of chemotherapy
  • Pediatric patient #6 on a trial study for Philadelphia Chromosome Positive Leukemia
  • Not a single hospital admission due to a fever!
  • 100’s of days spent in the hospital
  • Managed to win a hockey State Championship while on chemo

Relapse (December 30, 2015)

• Bone Marrow Transplant (May 4, 2016)
  • Donor was a perfect match
  • Engrafted in 24 days
  • 3 years recovery time included GVHD in my gut, pneumonia on three different occasions, shingles, C. Diff, Rotavirus, and many more
  • Transplant admission duration: 40 days
