For the 12th year in a row, I am writing to ask for your support for a very important cause - Cancer research.
1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Most of us know someone that is or has been effected. The breast cancer epidemic touches too many lives. More research needs to be done now in order to reverse this trend.
On August 6th, once again, I will ride 200 miles in the Pan Mass Challenge Fundraiser (PMC) to support cancer research.
The PMC is the single largest contributor to The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. 99% of all funds donated go directly to cancer research and treatment. This year, the PMC estimates that they will donate over $45M.
I am asking for your financial assistance in reaching this goal.
Bicycling 200 miles in 2 days is the hardest physical challenge I have ever taken on. But it is nothing compared to the physical and emotional challenges that a cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy faces.
This year, I am personally committed to raising $7,500.
I truly believe that cancer is a battle we can & will win. Please show your support with a donation and join me in the fight against breast cancer.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
