Why I Ride ...
In August 2023, I will participate in my 6th PMC in memory of my Mom, Cheryl Boli. My mom always focused on giving back to her community. Over her long distinguished career as a nurse, her favorite job was being a school nurse for the Town of Falmouth. She was passionate and dedicated. She took care of each child who walked through her office as if they were her own. Even when faced with a cancer diagnosis she still thought of others rather than herself, continuing to work, bringing treats to her doctors and nurses, and flowers for the administrative assistants. I intend to follow her lead by giving back to Dana Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy fund.
I ride for the loved ones that I have lost especially my Mom, Aunt Amy and John Haddad. I ride for those in my life that have fought and are fight currently including two of my uncles, my best friend's parents, and all of your loved ones. I ride for all those impacted by cancer. I ride because I truly think Dana Farber Cancer Institute can find a cure.
If you have someone you would like to make a donation in honor of or in memory of include their name in the notes or shoot me an email (allyboli3@gmail.com). I will add their name to a ribbon on my jersey and keep them in my thoughts as I bike. Your donation, whatever size, will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your generosity.
