This will be our 11th year of riding in the PMC to raise funds for the Evan T. Mandeville Research Fund at Dana Farber.
Everyone has a story, here is our story about Evan.
We ride in the PMC in memory of my nephew/godchild Evan. Evan was diagnosed with a rare and inoperable brain tumor (DIPG) in November 2011. Sadly the tumor took his life November 2012. Evan was 11 years old. The PMC raises money for the Dana Farber Caner Institute; where Evan received the best care and cutting edge clinical trials. Aimee and Tim often said the people at the DFCI are the nicest people you never want to meet.

My Two of my favorite pictures of Evan. His smile is contagious.
My sister Aimee and husband Tim decided to create an ‘Evan’s Crew’ team to ride the Pan Mass Challenge to bring attention and funding to the underfunded cancer research for DIPG.
Please consider donating. 100% of all Pan-Mass donations go directly to the Evan T. Mandeville DIPG Research Fund.
Thanks for reading.

This is an excerpt from Evan’s Eulogy written and delivered by Catherine Reyes… he was our Firecracker!
It's interesting that FIRECRACKERS were Evan's thing. He, himself, was a little firecracker. I can remember buying a package for him for his birthday and thinking, That's a lot of money for a few short moments of awe. But it was what he loved. And it was who he was. His time may have been short, but every moment was explosive! His fuse was lit,...He was NOT a dud. He exploded into our lives and remained a few short moments, but he left us in awe, wanting for more, but realizing that even the best fireworks fade into the air, but the memories of how they made us feel will never fade.
