Hello Everyone and thank you for looking at my PMC page. I have been riding and working in the bicycle industry for the last 35 years and in the last 9 years I have been living on the East Coast and working with Riverside Cycle. The shop has had an amazing PAN-MASS team that whole time. I have worked closely with the members and been honored to drive them to the start and enjoy the festivies of Love, Togetherness, and Support many times. Seeing is believing with everyone there and the positive feelings are out of the world.
A few years ago I was diagnosed with melanoma on my back (a rather large area) and had surgery and was laid up for 2 weeks then have had many more removed recently. Now with my quarterly check-ups and scans I think I am on top of this disease, for now...
Out of the blue this year my Mom came down with ovarian cancer and now it has hit even closer to home, as we all know our parents are imortal well in my mind they have been. She has undergone surgery and they took out a 10 tumor and part of her colon and she is now undergoing chemo and staying strong. I had a realization that I have been helping a lot of Riverside Rockets and other awesome PAN-MASS riders over the years it was my time to help CRUSH CANCER! I was always worried about the the entry fee even though it is for a cause that is priceless and there is no amount of money that is too much to beat this awful disease. I am here saying beating cancer is more important concern than the entry fee, I will get the donations, I will have an event to help me raise money for awareness and I will ride hard with all of the brave survivors, friends, families, love ones and all of the riders for the 2 full days!
Now the ask: if you can leave me some positive notes, join on a ride with me or donate even a little bit towards my fundraising goals that would be great and all is greatly appreciated.
