Why We Ride
WHY WE RIDE IN THE PAN MASS CHALLENGE:
August 1, 2015. Dave and I ride for my uncle Michael Marsoubian, We ride for my friend Carie Capossela (living proof), We ride for Beautiful Ani my friend Deanna Diana Shapshapian's 10 year old daughter, We ride in memory of Ray Ciesluk my brother in laws dad who lost his battle to cancer. We ride because We can be crazy sometimes, We ride because We can, I ride sometimes with fear and anxiety wondering how will I make over 192 miles when I have not trained more than 3 times all year, We ride thinking how great the $10,000 we raise will be for so many people, We ride watching the sidewalks and seeing so many tears of joy and sadness as they hold signs of photos of their lost loved ones while THANKING ME! YEP, ME!!! As if We deserve it because We are able to ride but their lost loved ones never could and We ride for THEM!!! I ride up horrid hills with tears running down my face having the nerve to want to give up and walk my bike cause I feel I can't make it yet those photos, smiles, the thanks for riding I get,I ride up that hill. We ride to teach our kids, We ride for our amazing family, cousins and friends but most importantly We ride to MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the journey to kick cancer in the butt. On August 1'st 2015 Dave and I will be riding over 192 miles in our journey from Sturbridge, MA to PTown. I thank you all kindly in advance and please take a minute to go outside, look up in the beautiful sky and smile. Blessed and Lucky to have all of you in our life
