I am riding in the Bourne to Provincetown PAN-MASS Challenge on August 6, 2023.
We did our first PMC race in 2019 in memory of my brother Michael who lost his life to cancer in 2018 when he was 60. My father was 41 when he lost his battle with Leukemia and my brother Steven lost his life to Prostate Cancer in 2020 at the age of 56. All of these men had a profound impact on my life. They were amazing family men, ambitious in their pursuit of education and successful careers, loved sports and were proud members of the Air Force.
Everyday I try to live a better life to honor and celebrate them. One small thing is the Pan-Mass ride to build awareness and raise funds to help find better treatments, and hopefully a cure one day.
