y'all know why I ride...
In this world gone mad...with so many other things on our minds, we cannot forget about the crusade against cancer.
I've been grateful for the pause, it's offered a slower pace that I'm ok with. I won't lie, I was elated to reimagine the PMC this year. No logistics to sort out, no intense training or a mad dash to the finish to avoid the possible lightening or hypothermia, (that year I didn't win that dash). I'm almost also ok with my Pandemic Pouch. Almost.
What I am not okay with is the work we still have to do to eradicate cancer. It takes everyone of us, in a world gone mad to still focus on the ones we've lost, the ones we know, the ones we don't want to loose. And we can't do it without each other.
I ride for all of yours, for all of mine & because one day you & I may be on the other side of the street.
We can't reimagine the wrath of cancer. It never ceases. When there's a cure, I'll stop riding and raising. Until then, I'm forever thankful for your support. My tribe. My team. My family. My life...& yours..
Put your mask on & your hands in the air & go...onwards & upwards.
