Make it Matter.....these words will not leave my head. I've been meaning to update this page but I've had a hard time finding my words. I think I'm ready now....
After a strong battle against overain cancer, my mother is finally at peace. On March 24th, Robin Peirce (my amazing and beautiful mother) passed away. You can see her obituary here.
I'm still riding this ride for my mom, but now it matters a whole lot more to me, my family, my mothers' friends, and all that she has touched. My mother believed in making every moment count in life. I am going to make this ride matter and will be thinking of her every mile I go. Thank you so much to all my supporters out there!

I am very excited about this major challenge! Please help support me in my ride! Sponsorship is greatly appreciated and will fuel me through the two days! Life presents many challenges through time. Its how we react to these challenges that make life meaningful.
I'm riding this year for my mom! She is currently battling cancer and the Dana-Farber Center has given her the opportunity to explore revolutionary treatments that are helping to fight this awful disease. Our family is so thankful for Dana-Farber and all the staff that have helped in the fight! I love you mom!
The 188 miles of hot pavement from Wellesely to PTown will be the hardest physical challenge I have ever encountered. I've been training hard and will continue to to make sure I am ready! The spin bike is all setup and training schedule is posted on my wall. Lets do this!
My amazing daughter and tireless french bulldog are cheering me on everyday! These two light up my life! I'll be peddling hard to see Char and Mar at the finish line. I'm going to be pushing hard! Ride for life!
Lastly, I'm doing this for all of you! My friends and family inspire me everyday! You are what fuels me strive to be the best I can be. I reflect on this everyday, especially over the past few years.
Please help push me through to the finish line! Your sponsorship means more than you know!
Love,
Mike
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
