Why I Ride ...
The Pan-Mass Challenge is an inspiring event that brings together patients, families, friends, and medical providers to find new cures for cancer. As a thoracic medical oncologist at Dana-Farber, I run clinical trials and conduct research to discover novel ways of fighting cancer. This is my sixth year riding the PMC, and I will be riding in honor of all my patients as well as my own family members who have been affected by cancer. I am a proud supporter of the PMC because 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's mission of providing compassionate care and advancing the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure, and prevention of cancer.
