I'm a proud 11 year rider of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.

This year is my 11th year riding the PMC. Many of you know cancer impacted my life at an early age. I lost my father to cancer when I was 12. Since then I have lost family members, dear friends, and colleagues. However, I keep riding because I know many people that are living proof due to the work that Dana Farber.

I love to ride, I am not the fastest rider, one year I was even flanked by the end of the ride road crew heading into Provincetown...but I keep coming back. One year - I spent hours riding in the pouring rain...but I keep coming back. I feel lucky and honored that I get to ride an represent all the loved ones of the people who donate.

I am grateful for my teammates, friends and family members -- who make me believe each day -- that I can take on this challenge.

Each one of us has a story that inspires us to ride. I know each one of my supporters have their own cancer story to tell. I proudly wear the names of their loved ones on my back and take them on my ride.

I am riding for legends this year. Those loved we've lost and our family and friends still fighting.
I truly believe wheels can heal.
