Jack Berry, 11 years old, is living proof of the amazing work the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund has been able to accomplish with the help of all of you. Just last summer, at age 10, Jack was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. Jack's parents, Cooper and Kate, made the decision to travel far from their home in Missoula, Montana, to seek treatment for Jack at Boston Children's Hospital and the Dana-Farber. After several months of intense treament, and a rotationplasty procedure, Jack has been cleared to return home this month (April). Jack's courage, determination, positive attitude and maturity at such a young age has been an inspiration to myself and all the know Jack's story.Their is no doubt in my mind that jack will one day be a rider in the PMC, until that day comes, I will ride for him. Jack is able to go back home this month for the first time in nearly a year, to be with his friends and family, to resume his life as an 11 year old boy, thanks in large part to the doctors, nurses, and staff members of Boston Children's Hospital, Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund, as well as all of you who have generously donated to such an important cause.
