I’m riding as I’m sure many others are, every year I seem to have another family member or friend diagnosed with some sort of cancer. From breast cancer to even prostate cancer, I’ve seen what it can do to people and how it drastically changes lives. Even if I can make the smallest contribution and help with patient care and research, it’s worth it. In a time where fedral funds and research are at a low I think it's critical that event like this continue with success in order to help all those effected. I'll be riding almost 300 miles across Mass and 100 percent of every dollar I raise goes directly to Dana-Farber, meaning that your donation has a real impact! Since its founding in 1980, PMC riders like me have raised more than $1 billion for lifesaving cancer research, treatment and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the country's top cancer care hospitals. My PMC is making a difference in the lives of patients at Dana-Farber and around the world. The funds I raise support the innovative work of doctors, nurses, and scientists in their search for cures for cancers and related diseases.
